Spicing it up (for beginners)
No doubt, the right herbs and spices can elevate food to new level, but we may pull back from adding them (and sometimes even find them scary!) if we don’t know how to use them.
If this is you, come join our afternoon journey of spices and herbs across cuisines.
This is your safe space to explore, taste and learn about how herbs and spices are used to excite or comfort the tastebuds, focus on Mediterranean (Italian) and Asian (Indian and Chinese) cuisines.
We’ll even discover how some spices can help us stay healthy.
Finally, we’ll send you home a few goodies to help you keep on your spice journey!
An Evening of Retro Souffles
Maybe a bit retro, but a wonderful French dish that seems to be slowly fading away from restaurant menus, as well as our own kitchens. And it certainly deserves a comeback!
So, if you like the idea of learning how to make, and then tucking into an authentic cheesy French souffle, and ending with a fun souffle dessert (think raspberry or Seville orange!), then you won’t want to miss this cosy event for a November evening!
£80 for 3 hours of learning to prep, and enjoying 2 types of souffles with a glass (or two) of Prosecco/Nosecco or other beverage.
(Limited to 6 students)

Biryani Masterclass
There’s no two ways about it. The Biryani is a regal dish, and it needs to be done right.
And whether you’re an Indian food baddie, or a beginner, we invite you to join this class and learn about a “proper” Biryani - worthy of being cooked and served in royal kitchens and courts of the Mughal era, as well as at discerning home kitchens.
We’ll learn how to cook one non-veg and one vegan Biryani.
Active participation, with ingredients and written guide provided, and a plate of the final dish to enjoy - £80
(Limited to 6 students)
