About Paisley House

Paisley House was born from a belief that living well is about more than following advice on food, fitness or wellbeing. It's also about the people we meet, the experiences we share and the connections we make.

Through food, creativity, learning and shared experiences, Paisley House invites us to slow down, reconnect and make space for the things that matter.

Real people. Real connections.

The Story Behind Paisley House

Paisley House was created around this idea: bringing people together through meaningful experiences that enrich everyday life.

The space and concept is founded by Gauri Bijur Saal, a long-time Dorridge resident who has raised a family in this vibrant community; and after 30 years in the healthcare industry, knows the importance of health and wellbeing - in each one of us separately, and across communities as a whole.

People, Culture and Food

Three simple ideas sit at the heart of Paisley House, that are all inextricably linked to community wellness:.

People

We believe human connection is an essential part of a fulfilling life.

Paisley Community brings people together through shared interests, workshops, clubs and gatherings. It's about creating opportunities to meet, talk, collaborate and feel welcome.

Culture

Exploring different traditions, experiences and perspectives helps us understand one another and the world around us.

Through our events, creative activities and food experiences, we encourage people to discover something new, share their knowledge and celebrate the richness of different cultures.

Food

Food not only nourishes us, but it also brings us together.

Through Paisley Kitchen and Paisley Dining, we celebrate cooking, learning and the pleasure of sharing good food. From individual lessons to group workshops, to bespoke dining events, we encourage curiosity, confidence and a more enjoyable relationship with what we eat.

A Different Approach to Wellbeing

At Paisley House, we believe there's value in returning to a more intuitive approach to wellbeing.

Wellbeing has become a complicated subject. We're surrounded by conflicting opinions, constantly changing trends and promises of quick solutions.

Looking after ourselves doesn't exist separately from the way we live. Our relationships, food, environment, interests and daily experiences all contribute to our quality of life.

We want to encourage people to think beyond rigid rules or fashionable trends and rediscover the importance of balance, enjoyment and connection.

A Place for Everyone

Paisley House is about participation, not perfection.

We're only interested in the ideas, experiences and knowledge that different people bring.

By sharing those things, we can create a community that grow richer, more connected, and live their best lives.
